The Kogitsune put magic into symbols, called runes, to protect themselves from the Kitsune, not having any children, preferring their race to die out than be servants to the Kitsune.However, some Kogitsune fled instead. Including Jeremy’s mother and grandmother. Jeremy’s mother wanted to have a child with a werewolf, one who would be strong and who could save their race.
Because of the mix of Kogitsune/Kitsune blood with his werewolf blood, it gives Jeremy the powers that the Kitsune have. Nick Sorrentino was born to a teenaged Antonio Sorrentino and a human woman. Shortly after Nick's birth, Antonio went through his first change, and realised it was not safe to raise his son with the woman he loved so he vanished, taking Nick with him. He returned to his pack, where Nick lived for the rest of his life.He lived with many of his older cousins, his grandfather ( dominic, who was also the pack alpha ), the Santos family, and the Danvers. Nick never managed to get along with the Santos boys, and they often teased and bullied him. Nick never told anyone about that, as a Werewolf is supposed to be able to fight his own battles.When Jeremy Danvers adopted a young werewolf boy, Clayton, Nick and Clay became best friends, basically brothers. Nick was a very talkative child, very eager and full of energy. He was incredibly close to his father, who wanted Nick to have whatever he wanted. Tragedy struck when two of Nicks cousins were killed, and one of his uncles left with a brain injury. Shortly, Nicks other uncle left, taking his two sons with him.Suddenly the Sorrentino family was down from eleven to five. Already protective of Nick, this made both his father and grandfather much more protective over the young boy. Because of this, Nick grew up a bit spoiled and, some would consider, coddled.This resulted in Nick, as he got older, not having a reputation among werewolves. Reputations are built through winning fights with other werewolves, and he was not allowed to take part. This became a point of frustration for Nick, even attempting to sneak out a few times as a teenager to go find himself a fight. He was always caught though.

Because he was delayed in starting a reputation for himself, Nick became known as someone who can’t fight. No matter how many times he proved that statement wrong, people didn’t seem to notice, or only care about Clay’s fight.Eventually, Nick did gain more of a reputation - but in the way he did not want. He became known, to the greater werewolf community, as weak, defenseless, a pretty boy, and stupid. Nick pretends that this does not bother him, as he can use it to his advantage against opponents. But it bothers him greatly. There’s only so many times someone can be told that they’re stupid before it starts to affect him.Nick is a loyal member to the North American werewolf pack. He is a skilled fighter, and incredibly clever. He often can see how people are feeling, and wants to make them feel better.He is also a big fan of casual relationships. He makes it very clear that he’s not looking for something serious, and if anyone wants otherwise, he will not lead them on and end the relationship. He keeps his heart guarded, but if he does fall in love, he often falls hard.

Paige became the leader of the American Coven, and took in a young twelve year old girl, Savannah, whose mother also was killed by the same organisation. However, Paige was only coven leader in name only. The Coven elders were resistant to her being leader, and considered her far too young and reckless.Six months after Ruth’s death and Paige taking in Savannah came a custody battle. A man claiming to be Savannah’s father wanted his daughter, but Paige was resistant to the idea, for multiple reasons. One, Savannah’s mother wanted her to go to the coven, not her father. Two, Savannah’s father was a man named Kristof Nast, heir to the largest crime organization cabal, and Paige feared that Kristof only wanted Savannah for her magic.During the custody battle, Paige was set up to look like a satanist black witch murderer, which the human media ran with. This resulted in a lot of attention on her, and her coven BANISHING HER, and her home being lit on fire and burning down.The Custody battle resulted in Savannah thinking Paige had been killed, and her magic going wild as she tried to summon the spirit of her mother. Because of this, Savannah accidentally killed Kristof. Paige managed to get there in time to calm the young witch down and get her out of the collapsing building. The coven refused to let Paige return, so Paige moved to Portland with Savannah and plans to make a new coven, one that will help all witches and not turn their backs to them.

Lucas Cortez is the youngest son of Benicio Cortez, heir to the Cortez Cabal and Cortez Corporation. However, Lucas has rejected these titles and distanced himself from his family, going to law school and becoming a Lawyer. Lucas is a sorcerer from a powerful sorcerer family who not only knows sorcerer magic but has taught himself witch magic as well, something that many sorcerers do not bother to do.Lucas was raised mostly by his father, but his mother played an active role in his life. His father would often take Lucas to his organisation's office. Lucas adored his father when he was younger; to him Benicio could do no wrong. Lucas also believed in the work that the Cortez Cabal was doing; keeping the supernatural community safe and helping those who came seeking aid.
Until one day as a teenager, Lucas walked in on his father giving an execution order, and that was when he saw the Cortez Cabal for what it really was. A criminal organisation who’s sole intention is to make themselves more powerful, to give themselves power and money, and don’t care about anyone else.When Lucas turned 18 and was supposed to undertake the formal invitation to become a full member of the Cortez Cabal, he refused and left. Despite this, Benicio named Lucas as the heir to the Cortez Cabal - a fact that all of Lucas’s older brothers despised. Lucas is sure it’s for political reasons, and Benicio would not actually hand the cabal over to him (right?) but this further drove a wedge between the family; with at least two brothers plus his stepmother putting bounties out on him.But he didn’t let it bother him. He finished law school and knew what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to help people, supernatural people, give them someone they could turn to who wasn’t a Cabal and well - if he got in the way of all cabal business and was a thorn in their side: well, he could happily live with that.Eventually he teams up with Paige Winterbourne where they form the Cortez-Winterbourne Investigations, where together they help people. He also becomes a member of the Interracial council as their Sorcerer delegate.

➡ A Cabal is a supernatural crime organization similar to the mafia or mob. They’re run by families of Sorcerers. In North America there are four Cabals. The Cortez Cabal, The Nast Cabal, The St. Cloud Cabal and the Boyd Cabal. The Nast Cabal is the largest, but the Cortez Cabal is the most powerful. They all have different territories, and the Cortez Cabal's main office is in Miami.➡ Lucas has a couple of bounties on his head, one from his eldest brother Hector, and one from his stepmother, to 'get rid of him'. His other brother, Carlos, also had one on him, but had to withdraw it because he went into debt for other reasons. Lucas's father, Benicio, threatened to kill any of his family if they were responsible for Lucas's death - and when that wasn't effective, he threatened to disinherit them. Lucas is fairly sure no one would be stupid enough to try to collect on the bounty.

Jaime’s mother associating Las Vegas with stardom and thinking it would be a good name.But as Jaime was a child star, she grew up in the spotlight. She became a medium, a spiritualist, someone who could contact the dead and tell people about their loved ones. Of course, she could actually summon and talk to the dead but she did not do this. She did research, and read peoples body language and told them what they wanted to hear, even if a ghost of their loved one showed up. One day he was hired to kill a werewolf by the name of Katherine ‘Kitty’ Norville who was live on radio. He never killed her as he realised when he was just on the other side of the door from her that he’d been set up. He made a deal with the wolf that he wouldn’t kill her if she didn’t press charges. She agreed.After that, he also agreed to help Kitty find out who hired the hit on her, and who tried to set him up. From that, he somehow befriended her. He’s still not sure how that happened, but that’s Kitty for you.Everything was fine until a hunt went wrong, and Ben was injured and he took him to Kitty to help. Turns out Kitty was in the middle of some dramas herself. This ended up with Cormac killing a monster to protect them. Unfortunately, the monster turned back into human shape. Extra unfortunate, there were human witnesses. Cormac was arrested and sent to prison on charges of Manslaughter.

But of course, even life in prison couldn’t be uneventful. Turns out there was a demon haunting the place, killing prisoners and guards every so many decades. Along with this demon was the disembodied soul of a magician - Amelia Parker - who claimed to be able to kill the demon as she had been hunting it before her death. She just needed Cormac’s body. After some convincing and more deaths, Cormac finally agreed.Together, they killed the demon.Then after four years of prison, he was released early on good behaviour. But he wasn’t alone. He had a new partner in his mind, and he’d retired from the hunting business. Mostly. ( Ben hadn’t even given him the key back to his weapons storage locker. )

SIEGE OF DRAGONSPEAR
Six months after the death of Sarevok, the Aasimar Caelar Argent was launching a crusade across the Sword Coast, killing many and displacing many more. Her goals were unknown, but the Dukes of Baldur's Gate wanted The Hero to stop her. Terryn just wanted to live her life - but then Caelar sent an assassin after her and Imoen was hurt. Thus, Terryn joined the Coalition to stop Caelar.Perhaps this would even help stop the rumours that were spreading; that the so called hero was a Bhaalspawn; that her blood was tainted with evil. If she could be good; do good; then maybe they would look at her for who she is and not who her father is?(It worked; until she crossed the very bridge Bhaal was murdered on - the energy knocking her unconcious as she had a very vivid vision of Bhaal's murder at the hand of the god Cyric - and the symbol of Bhaal BURNED into the stone under her body. Then everyone knew; then everyone feared her.)Despite the attitude towards her; she persevered. She stopped Caelar; she was no longer just the Hero of Baldurs Gate but now the Savior of Dragonspear - everyone celebrated her, everyone loved her. Until she woke up the next morning, covered in blood and the body of an innocent girl - the Dukes Daughter - next to her.It was so easy for everyone to believe she'd done it, despite her protests that she hadn't. It was so easy for them to lock her up, to call her a monster, to look at her with fear and disgust. The same people who just the night before were cheering for her. Dynaheir, cut down and Khalid; killed and his body desecrated while Terryn and Imoen were forced to watch.Do you see? Do you see!But finally they were free, and in the city of Athkatla, in Amn. THE EMPIRE & DEFECTING
Kyle Katarn is the son of Morgan Katarn, and grew up in the time of the Galactic Empire.Despite Morgan being a supporter of the Republic and a Rebel Sympathizer, he sent Kyle to the Imperial Academy to train to be a Stormtrooper so he’d get a good education, something that would be impossible on the farming moon of Sulon. Kyle’s imperial training went well, and on a few of his missions he became aware of his potential to use the force; as he had several Force Premonitions that helped him save the lives of many in his squad. He kept this information to himself, having heard rumours about what happens to storm troopers who have Force sensitivity.On one mission, he captured and spared the lives of many Rebels, including one named Jan Ors. The Rebels escaped when the station was attacked. After that mission, Morgan was killed in a Rebel raid on Sulon. Filled with grief and rage, Kyle believed the Rebels to be nothing but murderers. He graduated from the academy and became a decorated Imperial officer.At some point, he encounters a group of rebels, including Jan Ors; who cornered him and told him that the attack on Sulon was not the Rebels, but the Empire. Kyle didn’t want to believe her ( his gut told him she was right ) but when she showed him the video footage of the attack, he couldn’t deny it. Though the ships that attacked Sulon had the Rebel insignia painted on them, they used Imperial tactics, ones that Kyle had been taught and knew well.It was in that moment he defected from the Empire, blowing up an Imperial ship on his way out. Jan took Kyle to meet with a woman named Mon Mothma, one of the generals of the Rebel Alliance. Mon Mothma did not trust Kyle, but she was willing to give him a chance and gave him a mission - to steal the plans for the Death Star. It was not easy, but he managed to get the plans and deliver them to Mon Mothma, where the plans were joined with other portions to reveal the full Death Star plans.BECOMING A JEDI; TRAINING; THE FALL
After the Empire was defeated, Kyle still worked for Mon Mothma in the New Republic. But Kyle found out that his father hadn’t just been killed in the bombing, but had been murdered. After some investigating, Kyle discovered the person who had killed him had been one of the Dark Jedi Agents of the Empire, one called Jarec. While on the hunt for Jarec Kyle went to his father's old home, where he found a from Morgan, explaining that an old friend of his had entrusted information to Morgan and the Dark Jedi were looking for a place called ‘The Valley of the Jedi’ and that they could not be allowed to find it, as it was a Force Nexus and could be used to make them stronger. Along with the message was a lightsaber, left for Kyle.Kyle followed the map Morgan left, tracking down the Dark Jedi and stopping them from using the Valley of the Jedi and the Nexus. In his battle with Jarec, Kyle touched the Dark Side and pulled from it to help him defeat the much more experienced Force User. It was only the memory of his father, and knowing Jan was waiting for him that kept him from falling.Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors became the guardians of the Valley, as they were the only two who knew the location.Luke Skywalker offered to train Kyle after that, but Kyle declined, fearing the part of himself that called for the Dark Side. He thought training would make him more susceptible to becoming like the Dark Jedi. Sometimes after that, Kyle was approached by a woman named MARA JADE. Mara wanted to learn more about the force, and Kyle was curious. They decided to work together, forming a Reciprocal Apprenticeship. Everything was going well until Kyle was hired by the New Republic to investigate an Imperial Remnant base on the planet in the of DROMAND KAAS.He found ancient Sith ruins, and while he was clearing it out of Imperials, the heavy dark side presence of the temple started playing tricks on his mind, showing him visions, exploiting his fears and anger. By the time he got into the centre of the ruins, the dark side had fully clouded his mind.Mara started getting worried, having not heard anything from Kyle in some time, and could feel only the dark side through their force bond, and went to find him. She tracked him down on Dromand Kaas, and had an easier time resisting the pull of the Dark Side due to her history.
When she found Kyle, she'd realised he'd fallen. They fought, but they were evenly matched. Mara, knowing that this was not truely Kyle, decided to deactivate her lightsaber, no longer willing to fight her friend.Kyle swung his blade towards Mara, but stopped inches from her neck, struggling to fight off the dark side until he managed to drop his lightsaber. With Mara's help, they fled the ruins, leaving the taint of the dark side behind. Luke Skywalker came to Kyle again, offering to train him once more at his Academy. Kyle accepted this time, shaken from what he'd experienced on Dromand Kaas.Training went well, until two fellow students fell to the Dark Side, which made Kyle realise that even here, under the watchful eye of Luke Skywalker, the dark side could seep him. He handed his lightsaber over to Luke, and left the Jedi. This time distancing himself from the Force as much as he could.NEW REPUBLIC, OUTCAST, ACADEMY
Kyle returned to life as a New Republic Mercenary with his partner, Jan Ors, with whom he was in a romantic relationship. Life continued as normal for several years, and as he stopped using the force, he could no longer call upon it as easily as before. Which suited him just fine.At least, until he was forced to watch, helpless, as a Dark Jedi called Desaan killed Jan. Kyle knew the only way he’d be able to avenge Jan ( to get revenge ) was to reconnect with the Force and get his lightsaber back from Luke. However, instead of training and meditation, Kyle headed straight to the Valley of the Jedi and used the Force Nexus to spark life into his force connection, stronger than he used to be. Then he headed to Luke’s Jedi Academy to get his lightsaber. Luke tested Kyle’s abilities and was surprised at how powerful Kyle was after not using them, which then Kyle confessed to using the Valley of the Jedi.

Luke was troubled by this, but he refrained from judging Kyle. He told Kyle that Desaan was a former student of the academy, and he would help Kyle track him down. This quest took Kyle over the galaxy, and in a battle with Desaan’s apprentice, a woman named Tavion, he discovered that he had been tricked and that Jan was alive - and in his haste to rush off to the Valley of the Jedi, he’d been followed and Desaan had used the Valley to power his army and was going to attack the Jedi Academy.He’d spared Tavion’s life, and rushed off to Desaan’s ship, finding Jan and blowing up the shield generator on their way out, which enabled Rogue Squadron to blow the ship up. He tracked Desaan down on Yavin IV, and the two fought. Kyle defeated Desaan, and though that ever familiar pull of the Dark Side was there, Kyle found a balance of using it while remaining firmly planted in the lightside.Luke offered Kyle to come back to the Academy. Kyle, now having found this balance within himself, agreed. He wasn’t a student, but was promoted to a Jedi Master. He helped Luke, along with a handful of other new Jedi Masters, train the new students that came to the Academy.A year after his promotion, he was given two students to train. A young woman named Jaden Korr and a young man Rosh Penin. Unfortunately, the same time as his new students arrived at the Academy, a cult started making noise around the Galaxy. Through investigation, they discovered that the Cult was led by Tavion, who wanted to bring an ancient Sith Lord called Marka Ragnos back to life - and also revenge on Kyle for… sparing her life.Rosh Penin was seduced by the dark side, which made Kyle start to doubt his teaching abilities, but he knew that Rosh was not a lost cause. He was determined to find him, and bring him back, knowing that it was most likely Tavion manipulating the young man.Then there’s Jaden.Jaden was angered by Rosh’s betrayal, and in the anger and rage, she touched upon the Dark Side and killed Rosh. This action let the Dark Side in, and she knew that there was no going back. She tracked down Tavion, and after a fight, she killed her and took an ancient sceptre that Tavion possessed that could absorb force energy, and fled.Kyle, suffering from the death of one student and the fall of another, stepped away from his duties at the Academy, believing that it was his training that let this happen. But he wasn't just going to abandon Jaden. He knew she was just a scared young woman who acted out of anger and thought there was no going back.He was going to find her, pull her back to the light side, and bring her home.

This expanded his interest into the general field of folklore. When he went to college he ended up studying and getting a degree in mythological studies and anthropology.It was right out of college when he found evidence that all the creatures he was studying were real. In one of the worst way possible - he was attacked by a werewolf. By some miracle, he survived but he didn't come out of it without changing.

Eloren was 18 when she was infected by the Taint and forced to leave her home; 18 when she had to almost single handedly fight a war, 18 when she was asked to sacrifice her life, 18 when she survived because of a miracle. Or a Witches spell. Or making a bad person do the sacrifice. She was 19 when she was made Arlessa of Ameranthine and Warden-Commander of the Fereldan Grey Wardens. It was in her early twenties when she felt selfish. When she knew that her life was a ticking time bomb and one day she’d hear the Call and have to go down to the Deep Roads on a suicide mission. She knew she had less time than most Grey Wardens did too.She’d stopped the Blight, stopped Fereldan’s rulers from trying to murder each other, and there was for the moment, peace.at least. until the dreams started.

 origins  Eloren Mahariel, of the Dalish elf clan of Sabre, was exploring the woods with her best friend - and childhood sweetheart - Tamlin when they discovered something unusual. A mirror. But there was something strange about this mirror, and when Tamlin touched it, it unleashed a wave of something and Eloren passed out. She awoke in her clan camp, with a strange human man talking about the Blight, and that Eloren was sick. She didn’t care. They had to find Tamlin. She took the strange human, a man by the name Duncan who claimed to be something called a Gray Warden, back to the cave where the mirror was. Tamlin wasn’t there, and Duncan confirmed the worst. That Tamlin was likely dead, and the Blight was coming, and if Eloren did not go with him then she would die a slow agonising death or become a creature called a Darkspawn.Eloren’s clan leader, the Keeper, told Eloren to go. That if Duncan could cure her then that was all that mattered. Eloren didn’t want to leave her home, her family, especially since they were leaving - hoping to cross the waking sea to get to the Free Marches. There was a very good chance that Eloren would never see them again.
( And she wouldn’t.) So she went with Duncan to get this cure, except the cure wasn’t a cure. Oh, it’d stop her from dying within the span of a few days but the Blight would still take her. In forty years? Thirty? Twenty? Who knew, really. But it would still take her eventually. A future problem.Right now her current problem was this: she was being inducted into an order known as the Grey Wardens to fight something known as the Blight - when waves upon creatures crawl out of the deep roads, massacring and infecting all people and land it touched, the charge led by an ARCHDEMON; a dragon (an old god) tainted by the Blight and bent on destruction. Only a Grey Warden can kill the Archdemon.During the battle the night Eloren became a Grey Warden, the ensuring battle resulted in the death of all the Wardens in Ferelden. Except for Eloren and a man named Alistair. The last two Wardens in all of Fereldan. Which meant stopping the Blight before it could spread fell onto their shoulders. It was a shame, truely, that no one BELIEVED THEM that a blight was coming. After a horrible year of fighting to get allies and resources and getting people to believe them, the battle of Fereldan happened. By some miracle, Eloren survived and the Archdemon was killed and she was hailed as the Hero of Fereldan.

 awakening  Eventually, other Gray Wardens made it to Fereldan. Coming from Orlais, they confirmed that the Archdemon was dead. The Orlesian Wardens appointed Eloren as the Warden-Commander of Fereldan. The Fereldan royal family granted the Wardens the arling of Ameranthine - a city that Eloren suddenly found herself in charge of.Dealing with petty noble squabbles was never something she thought she'd have to do. Especially human scquabbles who were less than thrilled that their new Arlessa was an elf. Ah, fantasy racism alive and well. But there was something odd going on. The Dark Spawn were behaving peculiarly and Eloren found herself deep in a mystery that could change the way the darkspawn act forever. the calling 
everything was calm, and for a few years, it remained that way. she rebuilt ameranthine, the grey wardens of fereldan, she lived her life - until the dreams started. the nightmares. the calling. every grey warden would experience the calling, the notice that they were on deaths door and had to march down into the deep roads to die and take out as many darkspawn as they could, or let the taint consume her and turn her into a darkspawn herself. but eloren didn't want to die. she's barely had the chance to live. so instead; she's left on a journey to find a cure - before its too late.
